I've been away for far too long. Let me catch you up.
We've got the house done.
Nicholas is off to college.
And I've been working like crazy at my new Bonne'Bella booth at the Emporium.
Let me tell you about "Starlighting 2012".
The Castle Rock "Lighting of the Star" has been a community event shared by residents dating back to 1935. The same spirit of volunteerism, generosity and love of tradition exists today as Castle Rock businesses and residents celebrated Carriage & Trolley Rides from 3 different locations, Santa & Santa's Workshop, Entertainment & Performances, Puppet Shows, Carolers', Festival of Trees, Skating under the STAR, and a 30 minute fireworks show to end it all.
Our store was full of shoppers, and all my NEW friends celebrated this wonderful event.
I wanted my booth to be special this year. Here is how I decorated:
