Furniture Projects & other things I am working on

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share a few pieces of furniture I have been working on.

I have been very lucky finding some really nice pieces.

Here is a table I purchased from a garage sale.

$10 was an awesome deal.

Here it is after I restained it....

I bought it for Bonne'Bella thinking I would paint it cream.

Maybe shabby it all up. 

I loved it and decided to keep it for my own home.

Here is a handmade German old antique chair.

I sanded it all down and restained it a dark mahogany.

I love how it turned out.  

This chair was hand crafted in Germany with such care.

I bought it for Floyd since he is German. 

I thought it would be a fun piece to add to our home.

Loved it!

Here is a vanity and dresser.

I loved the shapes of these two pieces.

I ended up keeping them for Tyler's room.

I found such great pieces that I could'nt resist keeping them for my own home.

These two pieces were made of the same inside construction.

And even though I could tell they had the same inside nails, and hardware, they looked so different in color.  

The  dresser looks like a reddish color, and the vanity was so much darker.

Here they are after I spent a few hours sanding and re-staining them.

They had so many layers of paint and stain.  They are so beautiful!
